Head Coach of Seminole State Baseball
Meet Mike Nicholson
Mike Nicholson has led Raider Baseball for over two decades, guiding the team to seven post-season appearances, two Mid-Florida Conference titles, four NJCAA Regionals, and a World Series berth. He has been honored as Conference, State, Region, and District Coach of the Year, with more than 48 Raiders signing pro contracts—including six who reached MLB—and over 125 advancing to four-year universities.
Before Seminole, Nicholson coached at Clarkson University, scouted for the Yankees and Pirates, and served as an assistant at Wingate and Virginia Tech, where dozens of his players signed pro contracts. A former Wingate pitcher, he helped win four straight conference titles and set multiple school records.
He earned his B.S. from Wingate and M.S. from Virginia Tech. Nicholson and his wife, Carolyn, have a son, Keith.
